From the cozy mountain decor complete with working Victrola and gas fireplace that SERIOUSLY warmed up the entire top floor, we were at home the instant we walked in. We spent hours in the jacuzzi under their string lights with views of the lake, and cozied up to watch movies in their living room which comfortably fit four adults and four kids! The game room was stellar and to our surprise and appreciation, the hill on the property was perfect for sledding, making our time at the cabin beyond worthwhile. Kamille was so responsive and lovely - I could tell she was invested in our experience. I feel so lucky to have had the chance to stay there and I can’t wait to come back! For example, extension cords are added by every bed/bedroom so you’re not struggling to find a place to plug in your phone and devices. They even uploaded video instructions to an iPad for easy viewing. There was a beautiful book for you to get to know the hose and surrounding area, it was very personal & really adorable. Home was very equipped with everything you will need. Games, puzzles, toys and baby equipments were all provided to accommodate and entertain our kiddos. The house was close to everything, we didn’t have to drive for more than 10 mins to get anywhere. Yet it is well hidden on its own & very peaceful and quiet. “This is the perfect getaway. The amenities were a wonderful bonus. The living areas were extremely cozy, and the massage chair in the den was a TREAT! The jacuzzi was already heated and the fire pit was really easy to work. The cabin feels private and secluded but it is also easily accessible to the town and the slopes. Kamille was so attentive to every need and question we had and made our stay that much better. If I could give it 100 stars we would. Also a huge bonus was that it was the only area in big bear when we visited that had snow so the little ones were able to spend hours sledding in the side yard that has a significant slope! Our two teenagers (13 and 16) had plenty of room to spread out, and they loved the play room downstairs when they did want spend time together. We did cook a few meals at the cabin, as well as ate out at a few restaurants in the Village. It was our first time visiting Big Bear, and we had a really wonderful time.
